Kathryn was born and raised in Folsom, Louisiana. Growing up, she always knew God had His hand on her life. She had experienced various encounters with God as a child up all the way up into her teen years. In her early teens, Kathryn served as a Children’s Leader and Youth Leader at her home church. At the age of sixteen, Kathryn strayed away from the church and lived a life of addiction and abuse. In 2008, the Lord got her attention and she enrolled into a discipleship school and Bible College. She served in youth and children’s ministry for 2 years through this program. Unfortunately, she got involved in a unhealthy relationship and walked away from the Lord. It wasn’t until 2012 when God arrested her. At that point, she enrolled into Mary’s Song Women’s Restoration Center and started her new journey in Christ. She graduated the program in 2014 and was hired on staff in our church administrative office. During this time, Kathryn attended Bethesda College while serving in Young Adults and Youth Ministry. In 2018, she graduated and received her Associates Degree in Biblical Studies and was licensed as a Pastor. She married her husband, Nick, in 2016 and today has 2 beautiful children. Today, Kathryn and her husband Nick serve alongside one another in our Youth and Children’s Ministries. In addition, Kathryn, is our church Administrator as well as serves in our Women’s Ministry and Mary’s Song. Kathryn has a passion to disciple the next generation and see them find their identity in Christ. She loves to walk alongside others in their journey with the Lord. To her, there is nothing like the story of redemption in the soul of man.
