About
Feed the Multitudes is a giant free food festival held annually on the 4th of July. It began in 1990 during a very difficult financial season for our church. God spoke to our Pastor to find people that were hurting worse than we were and bless them. Victory Church responded to that call with Feed the Multitudes. The Lord reminded us that “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Over the years, Feed the Multitudes has become an annual tradition in the city of New Orleans.
Each 4th of July, we provide hot meals, desserts, drinks, and snowballs along with free groceries, haircuts, manicures, and hundreds of pairs of shoes to those in need. It’s a great day that includes fun for the children, gospel music, preaching, prayer, and water baptism.
Musical Guests
Musical Artists Tedashii and Groovy 7 will be live in concert at the 35th Annual Feed the Multitudes on July 4th in Metairie, LA.
Tedashii is an internationally known Rapper, public speaker, podcast host, and founding member of Reach Records’ 116 Movement, Tedashii’s special sauce lies in his distinctive style and ability to transform pain and struggle into poignant music. Nicknamed TDot, the Texas-born and raised emcee has captivated fans with his energetic sound and booming voice for nearly two decades.
Groovy 7 is a local New Orleans band that has made their mark by headlining festivals and performing at large group conventions in the City of New Orleans. The band has opened for internationally known artists including Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Jason Derulo, Rod Stewart, Chicago, Lionel Ritchie and any others!
Volunteer
In Matthew 25:35-36, Jesus said, “For I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to me.” This is why we throw the biggest FREE FOOD FESTIVAL in New Orleans every July 4th! We need people to serve in various areas including: Haircuts, Food Service, Parking, Groceries Distribution and more. Sign by clicking the link below! Rally with us as we pray for this years Feed the Multitudes on July 3 at 7pm! If you don’t know where to serve, no worries. At the rally you will be able to see all the areas available to you for serving.
