Molly was born, dedicated, and basically raised at Victory Church, even attending the on campus school, Victory Christian Academy for several years where she was a basketball star. That’s a lie- she was no basketball star; she’s more of an ultimate frisbee kind of girl. Molly has participated in pretty much every conceivable ministry at the church- barring the men’s ministry , of course- having grown up through children’s ministry and youth ministry, and served in those as well as Beyond the Grave and the worship ministry. Molly began playing keys for the worship ministry in early 2018 and a short time later also began to sing. It was also around this time that she wore a long yellow skirt on stage and someone told her she looked like a Pentecostal banana- but it’s okay, she doesn’t think about it much.
The worship ministry quickly became one of her favorite ways to pour out, and be poured into. For Molly, there is genuinely no place like the presence of God, and praise and worship has always been a gateway for her into that presence. To usher in God’s presence is both humbling and exciting for Molly, and for the team she has the keen pleasure of serving with. The musicians and singers that comprise the team are a key part of what the Lord does at the church congregationally each week and it is truly wonderful how they learn to flow in the Holy Ghost together. There’s nothing quite stepping into the river of God in the midst of worship and having the privilege to do so alongside friends!
Molly is incredibly grateful for the worship team and her whole church family! This is a community that has shaped her life for over two decades and continuously fuels a greater hunger for more of God in her life!
